Ask Me Another is a comedy/trivia podcast produced by NPR and hosted by Ophira Eisenberg and Jonathan Coulton.
There are a lot of quiz show format podcasts out there, and currently this is my favorite. The feel is optimistic, the questions are fun and it can be super nerdy.
I’ve spoken before about how I love when the content creators are having fun and it bleeds through into the product, this is another one of those. Ophira and Jonathan have great chemistry, and the live studio audience adds a pleasant vibe.
All the episodes follow the same structure: Usually three rounds of trivia with contestants from the public, interspersed with a celebrity interview and sometimes a game with the hosts. They are all interchangeable, so you can pick up the ‘cast at any episode.
Ask Me Another is not going to change your life or significantly alter your view of the world, but it’s a lot of fun and a great way to fill up a commute.
